Summer Work and Travel Program
Requirements
Participants must provide proof that they are:
- At least 18 years of age
- Currently enrolled in a University or College fulltime
- Able to speak English well
- Flexible, open-minded, and hardworking
- Be willing to participate in an entry-level/unskilled service job
Camp Counselor Program
Requirements
Participants must provide proof that they are:
- Between the ages of 18-30
- Currently employed or attending school
- Have a clean police record
- Love working with children
- Have experience working with children
- Have working with others
- Proficient in spoken and written English
Intern and Trainee Program
Requirements
The Internship
- Must be currently enrolled in and pursuing studies at the degree level or certificate-
granting post-secondary academic institution. - Graduated from a tertiary institution no more than 12 months prior to his or her J-1
exchange visitor program start date. - The maximum duration in any field is 12 months.
- Be proficient in speaking, reading, and writing English
The Trainee
- Must be currently enrolled in and pursuing studies at the degree level or certificate-
granting post-secondary academic institution. - Graduated from a tertiary institution no more than 12 months prior to his or her J-1
exchange visitor program start date. - The maximum duration in any field is 12 months.
- Be proficient in speaking, reading, and writing English
- At least 20 years of age.
- Have a university degree or a professional certificate.
- Have at least 3-5 years of work experience in the area of study.
- Have experience in the desired field of training.
- Able to speak English well.
- Flexible, open-minded, and hardworking.
The Au Pair program
- Proficient in spoken English.
- A secondary school graduate or equivalent.
- Between 18-and-26-years-old.
- Proficient in spoken and written English.
- Background Check.
- Loves working with children and have an open mind.
Teacher Program
- Must be working as a teacher.
- Two years full time teaching experience.
- Bachelor’s degree – education or subject field in which he/she intends to teach.
- Satisfy teaching eligibility standards of the USA – criminal background or other checks.
- Good reputation and character.
H2B program
The H2B work allow participants to travel to the United States temporarily for work, mainly for non-agricultural jobs which the US workers are in short supply. H2B visas are targeted at skilled and unskilled workers. Most of the jobs are available within the hospitality industry i.e. housekeeping, laundry attendant, waiters/waitress, hotel front desk clerk, landscapers, and seafood processors.
The H2B program was created to help employers in the USA to fulfill seasonal, peak load, intermittent, or one-time staffing needs. The participants usually work between 4 to 10 months with a possibility to extend; which usually depends on the employer’s need and then return home to their families and communities. These positions are usually available during summer or winter.

- Finished High School.
- Able to speak English well.
- Flexible, open-minded, and hardworking.
- Be willing to work unsupervised in an unskilled service position.
